WARNING:
This is Process is only for devices that can not being wiped.
Devices that can be wiped will auto enroll on the next wipe.
MacOS Installation Process
- Install the Filewave Client app from below.
- You will be asked for the local user account password.
- Click the Filewave Configuration Profile link to open the download page.
- Click the “Enroll Device” link on the download page.
- Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Go to “System Settings”
- Go to “General”
- Go to “Device Management”
- Click the “+” icon below the profiles list.
- Navigate to where you saved the “enroll.mobileconfig” and select it and click open.
- If prompted please click “Install”
- Do not worry about all of the warnings. They are pretty standard.
- Thats it!
iOS Installation Process
For this process you will only need to install the “Filewave Profile Configuration” and not the client app.
- Click the Filewave Configuration Profile link to open the download page.
- Click the “Enroll Device” link on the download page.
- Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Go to “System Settings”
- Go to “General”
- Go to “Device Management”
- Click the “+” icon below the profiles list.
- Navigate to where you saved the “enroll.mobileconfig” and select it and click open.

Apple MacOS Filewave Client App
Install this before the profile config. This client app is only for the MacOS. This will ask for the user device password for installation.

Filewave Configuration Profile for MacOS & IOS
FileWave Configuration Profile for MacOS and iOS. Install this after the FW app client. This will ask for the user device password and give you a bunch of permission warnings to accept. Accept and install.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
